James Robert Brill James Robert Brill’s life journey came full circle on May 12, 2025, as he passed away peacefully at the VA medical center in Martins-burg, WV, surrounded by his loving family and dedicated care team.

  James’ life journey began on February 5, 1951, in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

  James cherished his three children and was thrilled to watch his grandchildren grow. He found joy in hunting, exploring the outdoors, nurturing his garden, cheering on his beloved Redskins and favorite NASCAR driver, Bobby Labonte.

  James leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, Jimmy and his wife Laura, Jennifer and

her husband Nicholas, and Jon and his wife JoEllen, as well as his grandchildren, Adrian, Job, Cassius, Vivianna, Faith, Daveed, Alexis, Eddie, and Aubrey, who will continue to inspire and uplift those around them. James also leaves behind his three brothers, Donnie May and his wife Sandra, Dave Brill and his wife Carol, and Rick and his wife Rhonda, and one sister, Susan Fender.

  James’ legacy will contin-ue to inspire us as we build on the invaluable lessons he taught us, and the joyful moments we shared, empowering us to create a brighter future.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lamood, his mother, Vivian and his father Homer, also his beloved dog, Buddy.
