She was lovingly well-known by many as a friend, companion, and kind lady. To her family, she was Mom to four sons: Jim (Patty), Doug (Beth), Jeff (Brenda), and Dan (Crystal). To her ten grandchildren she was “Grandmom,” Jim, David, Jonathan, Darren, Justin, Danny, Nate, Ashley, Bethany, and Caley. It will fall to the children and grandchildren to keep her memory alive for her three precious great-grand-children, Jace, Avaleigh,

and Claire.

Besides working for many years in the family business, Arndt-McBee Insurance, she was an active member of the community and service or-ganizations. As a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, she had the honor of being named one of the First Ladies of the community. Her service to the Martins-burg/Berkeley County Jaycee-ettes included holding the offices of the local Jaycee-ette chapter, as well as a State President of the WV Jaycee-ettes. She was very active in the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs (GFWC) for many years, including serving as a club President. Barb was a nearly 50-year member of Berk-Mar Garden Club, South Atlantic Region of Garden Clubs, West Virginia Garden Club, and National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC). At the WVGC level, she served on the state Board of Directors for several terms in various capacities and also served two terms as President of her local club.

In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Barb is survived by two sisters, Susan Reagan Hinkle (Bill) and Sally Ivanina (John), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother-in-law, Paul Reagan.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Home Helpers Home Care and Panhandle Home Health for the excellent care they provided to our mother. It was Barb’s wish to have a private service. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Virginia Garden Clubs, Inc. (WVGCI), c/o Carol Williams, 128 Locust Avenue, Spencer, WV, 25276.
