Brandon Lu of Martinsburg won the 2024 MTNA Yamaha Senior High School Competition at Shepherd University October 12. He will be advancing on to compete in the Eastern Division Senior High School Piano Competition in December.
Brandon is the son of John Yao and Beryl Yao of Martinsburg and is a senior at Washington High School. He studies piano with Gary Mullenax.
