Make It Morgan Business Pitch Competition announces winners

The Make It Morgan Business Pitch Competition concluded on May 5 with a live business pitch event featuring seven Morgan County entrepreneurs and small business owners. Contestants had three minutes to pitch their business ideas to a panel of five judges and an audience of approximately 45 people, including family members, friends, and community members. The first-place winner was awarded a $7,500 prize sponsored by CNB Bank and a one-year Chamber membership sponsored by the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.

The second-place winner was awarded a $1,000 prize sponsored by BTM CPAs, RWR WV Insurance, Luke Christie/State Farm Insurance, and The Country Inn along with a one-year Chamber membership. The People’s Choice Award, which was voted on by audience members, was awarded a $1,000 prize sponsored by the Morgan County Economic Development Authority.
