Mr. and Mrs. W. Glenn Ramsburg were married Feb. 19, 1951, in the Asbury Methodist Church in Charles Town, by the minister Rev. B.I. Barnes. Nelson Peer, long time friend of the family and Mrs. Betty Miller (Wakeman) were attendants for the couple. Mrs. Inger Garrison served as organist.

The ceremony took place one week before the groom left for serving in the Army in Korea. The Ramsburgs thank God for 70 years as they all know when you go into the military no one is guaranteed safety.

The Ramsburgs are blessed with one son, David, his significant other, Stacey Hutzler; grandson, Grant and his wife, Samantha; two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Samuel. The Ramsburgs were guest of the family at the beautiful Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Delicious food and great fellowship was enjoyed by all.
