MARTINSBURG – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and University Health Associates recently announced that Jack Gelman, M.D., F.A.C.S., plastic surgeon, has joined WVU Medicine Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Martinsburg.
Dr. Gelman received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He then completed residencies in general surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, followed by a fellowship in hand surgery at Philadelphia Hand Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Pennsylvania.
Gelman has over 35 years of experience and is board certified in plastic surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to his role as a member of the Berkeley Medical Center medical staff, he will serve as assistant professor for the WVU School of Medicine.
